label save-the-date card
- Using a graphics program or Microsoft Word, type your save-the-date
wording to fit onto a 5.5” x 4.25” piece of cardstock.
When setting your text up, remember to leave room for the attached
circle seal.
- Print out on ecru cardstock. You can get 4 save-the-dates on
an 8.5x11 sheet of paper.
- Trim down the save-the-dates with an x-acto knife and ruler.
Begin by cutting the paper in half horizontally then dividing
those two pieces in half vertically.
- For the labels, use a graphics program or Microsoft word, to
set up text to fit onto the printed area of the circle seals.
Be sure to include the date and place of the wedding, as well
as the couple’s names. We’ve customized our seals
to read “milwaukee, wi – Katie & Eric –
07.07.07”
- Print your seals. Then trim around the seal, leaving it attached
to the backing, so your recipient can remove it easily and adhere
to their own calendar.
- Attach the seal to the save the date with a clipiola.
- To create the envelope liner, take your envelope and place down
onto the handmade paper. Trace with a pencil around the envelope.
- Trim the liner out with scissors or an x-acto knife and a ruler.
Then trim a 1/2” piece from the bottom of the liner.
- Tuck the liner inside the envelope and fold the flaps of the
envelope and liner down.
- Pull the envelope flap away from the liner and roll mono-adhesive
along the back of the liner.
- Press the liner and envelope firmly to adhere.

to fit onto the printable area of the circle seals. We’ve
customized our seals to read “Enjoy! thank you for being
a part of our big moment!” with gold ink.
- Print your seals.
- Measure a 1/2 cup of coordinating candy and pour into cellophane
bag.
- Fold the bag down to the candy and staple directly in the
center of the fold. You can trim the top before folding for
a less bulky fold.
- Adhere a printed circle seal and adhere to the bag, pinching
over the fold.

fish bowl guest book
- Using a graphics program or Microsoft Word, create two tags
that instruct guests to “Write your wishes for the new couple”,
as we put it on our sample.
- Print on ecru cardstock and trim down each with an x-acto knife
and ruler to 4x2” pieces. For extra embellishment, we used
a scalloped scissors to trim the edges.
- Punch a hole in the top left corner of the tag that will be
attached to the fish bowl.
- Tie the natural twine around the neck of the fishbowl, tying
your instruction tag in and then tying a bow.
- To create the message papers, trim 4” x 4” pieces
of paper. We’ve used patterned and plain papers for a nice
variety.
- Wrap the pink ribbon around the sides of the tray, adhering
with double sided tape.
- Adhere the remaining instruction card on top of the two pieces
of ribbon that came together at the front of the tray, with double-sided
tape.
- Place sizzle into the bottom of the fish bowl and tray.
- Place a stack of the message papers, pens and sealing circles
inside of the tray.
Guests will write messages onto the back of a message paper, roll
it up, seal it with a circle seal, and drop it into the fish bowl.
Our hint… place a few samples inside beforehand so guests will
know what to do!
